I found the tankobon a few months ago, and swore to one day right this wrong. Somewhat; they're still less than perfect, but a massive improvement. I'll post a comparison shot after the jump. So, story seems to be about the Rock Paper Scissors Grand Champion of All Time and a few lovely lady friends. Characters are from the book 'Enn' (I guess that translates to 'Feast'?), which has not been translated nor have I found a scan of this 'new version'... Loli/shota tags are very debatable here, don't believe anyone will mind. Certainly no one following this blog. Not much yuri. Lots of orgy, which is small but very respectable. Important Edit: Someone else did it. : | Uncensored it, too. Plans to do the whole book, and has already done the next chapter. The timing man, wow... H9Eleven quite sanely decided to lift the text directly from Brolen's version, somewhat messy text is no doubt worth the time it saved him. Believe me I know. So now I have stolen his uncensorings and added them to my own work. Not a damn thing he can do about it, bwahahaha (unless you do have a problem with that, lemmie know). That second last page? Characters are from 'Enn'/'Feast', but the actual chapter is from JC Ecchi which is probably my favourite Shiwasu no Okina book. That whole thing has been translated, but with magazine scans... this story's the worst off, but there are a few others that don't look so good.

While we numeratin', 'HHH' is probably my favourite of his stories, narrowly dethroning that crazy one about the blessed shota simply by page count. Crazy sex-packed pages.
Second favourite book now is that 'Musume in a House of Vice' collection. Because Prostitution ROCKS!!
I gave the Shining Musume main series another shot recently, but still just can't get into it, I dunno...

Oh well. I know for sure now, and I was tempted to do 'Blindfold Play' sooner than later. Had myself convinced I could do it 'real quick', knock it out in one sitting, like I thought I could do with this one...

With Amazon Japan, even if they state they won't ship abroad it really depends on the destination country. For example, a couple of years ago they had no qualms sending me some h-mangas in Western Europe; this unofficial policy may well have changed in the meantime, though...
ReplyDeleteTo tell the truth, given the current climate around Japanese pornography I wouldn't try it again with any non-vanilla adult manga, especially if it can be construed as featuring underage characters.
Even if those works aren't illegal in your country, you can end up in all kinds of trouble all the same; like it happened to Christopher Handley all you need is some moralfag postal worker to report the package to the authorities, and you'll have to pay for a lawyer to defend yourself in court, and Heaven help you if the prosecution wants to make an example out of you. And if it's a slow news day, your name will be on the evening news, misreported as importing child porn.
I was more concerned with someone, perhaps under the guise of 'moralfagootry', stealin mah book.

ReplyDeleteWell; it's a one chapter story, I wasn't familiar with the artist, and it's kinda (sorta) action-y without being gross.
Was looking at some of the artist's other stuff, and I don't like that art style. Mostly those 'x-ray' shots... there's none of that in this one. Stories seem rather cool, what I could make of 'em...
No idea if you'd like it or not, really, but it sure as hell looks interesting.

ReplyDeleteI bought the new edition of ENN and I have bad news: it does NOT contain revised material like the recent rereleases of Shiwasu no Okina's Daijoubu or his self titled book.
The new version of ENN is simply a reprint with a new cover, new author's note, and *slightly* sharper image quality and a little deeper blacks in the print itself. That is all.
So false advertising sucks, but at least you don't have to worry about what you might be missing by not having the newest edition.
Never had high hopes for new content. There was that one lovely full-colour follow up chapter...

No all of the new editions of SNO's tankoubon has new materials...but cause we don't have them, we can't say in advance if yes or not.

Well Uglicus wasn't interested, so I on my own wouldn't get very far, no.
ReplyDeleteThose scans were pretty terrible; some higher quality stuff would be much easier to work with (not to mention read). I can't ask someone to tear up their prized acquisition... and if that someone's not familiar with scanning maybe there'd be no gain.
Oh, ok thanks. On Pant.su there is a scanner who take commission to scan (-___-), maybe someday we'll have that version uploaded...

ReplyDeleteIt might be possible to aquire a PDF scan of the repring of ENN. I don't know difficult it would be to extract the images from that afterwards, but the japanese DLSite sells ENN, Daijoubu and several other books in PDF format.
