Well, while I'm posting I'll draw attention to our new future projects page thingy. Future to me anyhow, they're all translated. As Uglicus continues to outpace me, I expect this page to fill up. Fast.

ReplyDeleteI thought I'd seen Micheal's actor in the opening credits, at least. Can't remember his name at the moment, so I could easily be mistaken. What really got to me was all those poor nameless bastards who were neglected throughout the series. They were sort of represented by Rose and Bernard I guess, but still, shit.
As for that particular suggested fetish, no, I don't think so. Some of the stuff on here's pushing my limits, so I won't be editing anything like that. I don't think Uglicus's into it either. (eeew)

Lost was nothing like the Twilight Zone, or did I miss the episode where an old woman in a farmhouse battles two tiny wind-up spacemen THAT WERE HUMAN ALL ALONG! I think there was an episode where a couple were abducted by aliens, and then given to the aliens' daughter as dolls, and the message was 'Don't drink and drive.'
Lost never had shit on the Twilight Zone.

ReplyDeleteI missed the lost finale since they switched the airing dates and I didn't know about it. Had to grab it from Demonoid to see it. Let's just say it's open to mindless speculation as to what the fuck actually happened...

ReplyDeleteMaybe I wasn't putting much thought into it, but I felt it was pretty straightforward, definite. Certainly more so than I was expecting.
I was reading this (link full of them spoilers): http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3309161 wherein a guy suggested (I may be remembering wrong here) the whole of the last season was misdirection meant to lead you to believe they answered more than they did. That the rest of the show was full of dropped or undeveloped ideas, or just poor writing (this more the general thread topic).
Some fun little details I never picked up on in there.

I was just pissed off that Lost did a 'The Twilight Zone-like' ending...
