First!

Hooray! Settin' up new blawg for the sharing of pornographic manga translations.
Uglicus is our translationer, he does pretty good far as I can tell (I cannot exactly compare to the originals).
Other guy with whom I should probably check before posting his username Dreamofashore (!) has edited a few stories, and may return for more in the future.
I have edited quite a few myself (no offense to previously mentioned guy, but it's pretty much just gruntwork), and will take care of this blawg shit, 'cause it looks fun.

The stories I'll be posting here seem biased towards the loli genre, though there's some boobs in there too, here or there. No nasty or unpleasant shit will be found here, I promise happy endings all 'round. And you can trust me on that 'cause I am a fucking pussy. Depressing ending means depressed editor. Graphic fictional violence has made me non-fictionally ill on more than one occasion.

Anyway, I am curious as to how many visitors we will see with absolutely no promotion of any kind other than a link included in the next Deadfrog release. Inspired an inaugural contest; first reply to this post wins a super special secret prize. Don't worry latecomer, it's worthless crap.

  1. Looking forward to checking out your stuff! Especially the Nekogen stuff--I'm a fan of his.

  2. Tonigobe's already got a Gift. You should give the worthless prize to me - The Righteous Pedo, LoliSauce. Hero to young girls around the world.

Also, I'll be keeping an eye on your translations. My comments usually come pretty sparingly, but I'll pop up every once in a while to say shit like "Repugnance and Teddydick are the best fucking tags I've seen outside of desudesu's translation blog, hands down, but what's a gb?" or whatever.

For future reference, are you guys open to recommendations?

  3. I'm open to suggestions, but I have a huge list of things to translate already. I make no promises.

  4. Prize is gone, Sauce. You can look on in envy next release.
I'm planning on doing a tag page later today when I get some time, to define shit and allow me to get more creative. 'gb' and 'dp' are probably too short, yeah, but 'gang-bang' and 'double penetration' are too long. Maybe not 'gang-bang'... I thought they were mainstream yet uncommon enough to go with abbreviations. Dunno.

  5. Uglicus:
Don't worry, I don't have anything I'd especially like to see translated right now. Most of Higashiyama Shou and Sekiya Asami's works are already taken care of as it is, and they're the only artists I really go nuts over. It's good to know that I can toss in suggestions for the future though.

  6. That totally wasn't the prize. Oh man, it's so much better than that. You will fall to your knees and weep in awe and envy.

  7. Congratulaions on your new blawg. Nice unique style.

  8. The, uh, template or layout or whatever it's called? I like it, but it's just one of the default options. I've never seen it before, but I don't read many blogs that aren't about cartoon porn.

    Compliment's a compliment though, thanks.

  9. 'Ello, 'ello, 'ello. What's all this then?!
A fine new translation blawg and there's no mention of it on www.mangaupdates.com?
That's no good, bad even! Mangaupdates is one of the best places to go (if not THE BEST) when you want to keep the general populace aware of your releases. You don't even need to fill in series\book\oneshot info page for the releases -- most of the time other people (like me, for example) will do that for you.

Anyway, thanks for all this cool stuff you've already scanslated.

  10. I think someone suggested that on Tonigobe's site, and I was looking into it but between the porn and the blog and, y'know, real life... I gotta get this stuff done. I see in my inbox another translation from Uglicus, and another he's thinking of doing. Madness.

You are more than welcome to put it up there (I detected some eagerness), just let me know if there's something I gotta do.

  11. Glad to see someone working on both Nekogen and Rustle. Keep up the great work on this blog spoot ;)

  12. Congrats on starting your blog. I've been wanting to comment about this for a while but now that I am done with finals I can give some good advice.
First let me say that I have been an editor for LWB, and desudesu over the past year, helping out when there people go missing and have given some advice that has been implimented by them and other's like Team Vanillia.
Okay now that the compliments and credits are out of the way I want to suggest some file tagging schemes. First since you seem to use .zip format you can insert metadata tags to properly label the files (ie. artist, title, translation group, chapter, volume, etc.) A free and powerful comic program is 'ComicRack' http://comicrack.cyolito.com/ These tags are stored in an XML file that will not adversely affect other programs. It is very importantly to have a method to keep track of Artist and Titles as well as who puglished when people reach more than a hundred comics. I'm sure you'll come to see this for yourself and hopefully this can be a good first step to creating a positive and constructive feedback for you us to build on.
Alas keep up the good work and we'll keep an eye out.

  13. Hello again, formerly Anonymous from May 23, 2010 11:36 AM here.

I've added you as "UGLIBLAWG" (you can change that any time or I'll do that for you) to mangaupdates and submitted a couple of your releases, the ones up to Fist Heart, but hit a bit of a snag there as somebody misfiled HIDAKA Nanao under Okamura Murimi and ... ah I'm rambling. Anyway, the submissions are awaiting approval so there's nothing to see there right now.

I'll probably finish submitting other releases tomorrow, need sleep badly

  14. P.S. By "you can change that any time or I'll do that for you" I mean "request to change it", as I'm not a member of admin staff on mangaupdates or anything like that. Ah well goodnight

  15. Thanks for the help and suggestions, you make being in over my head quite comfortable. All this stuff is greatly appreciated.

  16. Hey guys, Nash of LWB here (again).

I totally love your stuff and I have a suggestion to make. How about a collaboration?

I'm currently translating this one right now: http://g.e-hentai.org/g/241199/b332907886/#

And I want you guys to edit it.

Since LWB is one of the bigger groups, it's a good opportunity to get your name out there.

How about it? If you agree, just drop me an email and I'll toss you the script when I'm done: murder_squad[at]gmx.de

  17. Wow, that's cool of you. I appreciate the offer, but no thanks. I've got piles of stuff to edit already, and not so much time to spend on them.

That's a perfectly good and honest (honest) excuse, but I gotta go the extra dick mile and add I'm just not a fan of butterflies. Sorry, nothing personal, no offence intended, really should leave this part out but I'm difficult like that.

What a shitty post, this. Sorry. :(
Good luck with the project and whatnot.

  18. Hey man,

no hard feelings here. I can totally understand the first part about being busy as fuck (because I can relate, haha), but I was kinda shocked when I heard you dislike us :\

I mean, it's not like we only do rape and guro, y'know.

But anyway... if you ever change your mind, give me a holler.
